Named after Prince Buster, one of the most influential figures in the history of ska and reggae music. Blending American rhythm and blues with Jamaican mento and jazz influences to create a danceable style. His music often carried sharp social messages, whilst most importantly still radiated joy and energy to bring people together. This sums up what we aim to achieve, delivering sharp service, strong drinks not only in abv but look, style and timelessness in a room full of energy and joy.
Prince Buster’s legacy influenced the British mod and skinhead scenes of the 1960s and laying the groundwork for the ska revivals of the 1970s and 1980s). This directs our music policy moving from the 50’s and 60’s RnB and Ska through the mod revival of the 70’s, 80’s acid jazz, brit pop of the 90’s to the 00’s indie movement.
One thing that always sings true is genuine care produces genuine results!
Be warm, be welcoming, and most of all “enjoy yourself” and the time you get to spend with your guests!
